So, as you can probably tell by our reviews, Jessica and I read almost totally different authors. However, we both read Nora Roberts... the only thing is I read her romance and Jessica reads her J.D. Robb books. Nora Roberts is one of the names in the romance genre. She has written a lot of books and most of them are worth the time to read them. And Blood Brothers (Sign of Seven Trilogy, Book 1) delivers as the first book in a new series.

Quinn goes to Hawkins Hollow to do some research for a book she's writing about the strange occurrences that happen in the town every seven years. Caleb and his two childhood friends know firsthand about the evil affecting Hawkins Hollow and want to put an end to it. So, with the help of Quinn and two other women who are drawn to the town they start the quest they are destined to take.

This was a hard summary to write as so much happens in this book. Nora Roberts has to set up the series, move the plot along enough for the reader to want to read the next book and have a complete romance between Quinn and Caleb. She accomplished all of this masterfully. I was pulled into the world that she created and was rooting for Quinn and Caleb as they worked together on their romance and their quest.

I listened to the audio version of this book and was very pleased with the reader's performance. Overall I enjoyed this book very much and would highly recommend either the book or the audio. And I can't wait until The Hollow (Sign of Seven Trilogy, Book 2) comes out later this year.
