Cami is a modest, bookish woman who lands a job organizing a gala for the company she works for. Enter Duke, the sexy and mysterious head of security who has the responsibility of assisting Cami in pulling off the event. Yet something draws Duke to the unassuming woman and he fights the feelings that overcome him. Cami can't believe that Duke pays any attention to her and she revels in it and decides that Duke is the man to transform her.
"Overnight Cinderella" by Katherine Garbera follows the classic plain Jane/handsome prince storyline. It's just an average tale. Nothing about it really stands out and makes this story unique and memorable. I liked the character of Cami and she was a good foil to Duke. But overall, this is just a so-so read and I'd suggest passing over it for something with more meat.
