Nick kicked Abby out of his life six years earlier, but what he didn't know was that she was pregnant with his child. When Nick discovers he is a father he wants to get to know his child and won't take no for an answer. Abby can't let her child go, so she follows and gets reacquainted with Nick and love blossoms.
I actually have mixed feelings about "The Cowboy's Secret Son" by Judy Christenberry. I like the premise, but Nick often came across too dominate and I had trouble believing the romance between Nick and Abby. But I did enjoy the secondary characters and the plot, so not all was lost. For a fast, adequate story, then try this one. If you want something with more "meat", then pass it by.
