New Poll / October Contest

As visitors to our blog have probably noticed, most of our guests have been authors of romance and/or erotica. It's been easy for me to line up these authors because it's mostly what I read.

But I want to know what sort of genres you read and would like me to find authors to promo here. I want to keep you all, our readers, happy... but I also want to get more variety of genres represented here.

So, I've posted a poll (it's in the right hand column) and will keep it running until Halloween, October 31. Choose as many genres as you want. If there is a genre that I didn't list, post here and tell me what it is.

And now to the contest part of all this. We've just completed 3 months of promos and we have 3 months more scheduled for you. To enter the contest, tell me which of the promos you most enjoyed or the one you're looking forward to. And a "why" you liked it or look forward to it would also be helpful as we look to the future. At the end of the month, I'll pick a couple names from the commenters as winners. The winners will get to chose from the following books:

I enjoy all of your promos but the one that stuck with me the most was Donna Grant's I am really looking forward to reading her Sisters Series. I like the interviews because you get to see that the authors are down to earth normal people like you and me, it makes reading the books more fun for me.

Sarabelle, I totally agree. I'm loving getting to know these authors. And it's been fun chatting with them as we set up these interviews and promos. And Donna is a doll (to use her word). We're Facebook buddies these days.

Thanks for all the great authors and interviews, I love finding new books for my wishlist (although it's far too long already!). I really liked especially Devyn Quinn and JodiLynn Copeland... And I'm looking forward to Michelle Miles and Eve Silver, but I'll enjoy them all!

Your promos are excellent and enjoyable. I am looking forward to the Kate Jacobs promo. I have read two books by Kate Jacobs and love her writing and her stories. They are unique and memorable. Thanks for this special place.

I'm fairly new to your website so I haven't been around for previous promos, but of those upcoming promos, I think I am most looking forward to Eve Silver, Laura Drewry and Hope Tarr.

Karen, I hope you take some time and look back at some of the past promos. You won't be able to win books from them, but you might find some books to add to your wishlists. And welcome to the blog. I hope to see you often. :)

Jen...I find your promos well done and enjoy meeting all the authors you interview...the majority being new-to-me. This fact pretty much sends me off planet since I have a book a day habit across a lot of genres. Even so, I'm open to adding new authors when their voice speaks to me and the interviews help me make the determination. Best....Nancy:)
