Jen's Review: "Purchased for Pleasure" by Nicola Marsh

Tyler and Kate went their separate ways years before. But when Kate saw that Tyler up for bid at a charity auction, she couldn’t help but purchase him. But now they have to spend a week in each others company and find it hard not to keep their hands to themselves. So, what will happen to their relationship when their time is up?

The plot of this book sounded really good and in fact the start was great. But then it fell flat. I didn’t quite get the romance in this book. All I felt the characters had was sex and to me that doesn’t equate with love and forever. There was a lot of history that the Tyler and Kate had to deal with and I think that took away from looking at their emotions in the here and now. And the book is less than 200 pages, so there wasn’t time enough to accomplish both in a satisfactory way.
